Throughout its 20-year history, AREA has fostered and maintained ongoing
relationships with real estate developers and government officials at all
levels. AREA is regularly asked to assess fiscal and economic impacts of
proposed projects, to analyze ways of improving local economic conditions, and to develop effective econometric models.
Often our clients are retail space developers, who ask us to analyze how new developments will affect existing neighborhood retail uses. AREA also applies its skills to environmental impact assessments, for which we analyze the likely economic consequences of a wide variety of proposed public sector projects.
